Our foreign teachers kick-start the Teacher’s Day celebration week “Người thầy truyền cảm hứng – Người gieo nắng” at Vicschool in their exciting Language Arts, Science, Mathematics and ESL classes. The students enjoy the “feast” of knowledge in every single of these memorable and enticing lessons.
Have a look at Mr. Meka “Knows-It-All” Muotoh’s Language Arts lesson. The students get to experience food from all over the world via the adjectives about their shapes, sizes, colors, tastes and so on. Has anyone the courage to try bitter melon? As we learn with more than one sense, the lesson just come together naturally.
Next, check out how Ms. Debbie represents the areas of shapes with rectangles and squares. For instance, how many squares make up this giraffe? This is certainly more interesting than trying to remember formulas.
Equally intriguing are the sessions with Ms. Judette, Mr. Dennis and Mr. Kevin. Together, we explore and explain how and why objects submerge or stay afloat, take the roles of psychologists, or give suggestions on what we should and should not do in different situations in real life.
Such fascinating sights are not limited to this festive week; we students are long accustomed to how different subjects intertwine to make each other more exciting. Aside from knowledge about Math, Literature and different branches of sciences, our English is also greatly cultivated and showcased on a daily basis.
This is the vision of the English program in Vicschool. Come, join us and conquer the heights of English! Do you accept the challenge?
