On Saturday morning, November 13, 2021, Victoria Thang Long Primary & Secondary School organized a training session for English teachers with the topic “SEVEN HABITS OF SUCCESSFUL ONLINE TEACHERS”, in an online form on the platform Microsoft Team 365. The school has invited two experienced experts, which are Master of Education Do Tram Anh – Consultant in program development and teacher training, University of Minnesota, USA, and Dr. Tran Thi Minh – University of Hamburg, Germany to directly guide and share experiences for teachers.
The training program is organized with the aim of helping English teachers of Victoria Thang Long Primary & Secondary School (including Vietnamese teachers and native teachers) have the opportunity to approach and practice 7 habits of successful online teachers. Especially, during the time of online learning due to the complicated epidemic situation, these methods will contribute to giving teachers more options and initiatives to improve teaching effectiveness. Specifically:
– Teachers are introduced to and experience step-by-step effective classroom management methods.
– The teachers will analyze and discuss together as teachers, have practical experiences to think, modify and apply the tools and methods provided in the course to suit teaching content and specific target students.
– Teachers receive support tools to easily deploy and apply in preparing and preparing lectures for their classes such as activity banks, images, etc.
The training seminar was exciting and open with the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the speakers and the active participation of Vic School teachers. In the coming time, the school will continue to promote professional training activities to help teachers gain more valuable experience as well as further improve their professional and professional capacity.
