With the ESL (English) learning project at the 2022 Summer Camp, Vicsers completed their exercises through hands-on activities during the field trip last June. Specifically, Vicsers Grade 1 were tasked with creating nature pictures from natural materials obtained at the picnic spot (leaves, petals, pebbles…). Vicsers Grade 2 and Grade 3 were asked to recount their own impressions of the trip. Vicsers Grade 4 will try to play the role of farmers to describe the process of planting, caring for and harvesting some plants, vegetables, fruits… in their garden.

The form of the exercise is to write an essay in English combining drawing/pasting pictures, taking pictures, designing diagrams, illustrations…Thanks to their own creativity combined with practical experiences during the trip, Vicsers have completed the project’s project with many unique and diverse ideas.

At Victoria Thang Long Primary & Secondary School, students not only acquire knowledge through books and lectures by teachers, but also through learning projects, through their own practical experiences. From their own experiences and feelings, from real life through practice, Vicsers can build their own learning products and create their own knowledge. This is a modern and positive method that has been effectively applied by the school in recent school years.
